Hotel Continental - Tangier

Fantastic location at the harbour, very nice and multilingual staff, great ambience in the style of 1900 ! Good breakfast.

Ants in the room. Car access very, very narrow, because you have to go to the Medina. Alternatively long foot march. TV very limited.

Breakfast is delicious. Bed is large and very comfortable. Location is great. Cleanliness. Employees. Terrace is dreamlike

The gentleman who showed us the room asked for more money despite a tip. The shower is very funny and small, the bathroom was flooded.

The wireless internet didn't work. It is very expencive to the money paid.

We enjoyed its understated beauty and location. It is 'of a bygone era' and relaxing. The whole atmosphere is intriguing and a contrast to the busy medina. We loved it.

Breakfast was very basic. We would pay more to include fruit and eggs etc.

The hotel has a long history, had many illustrious guests and the location is really great - definitely not a 08/15 accommodation. Large terraces and colourful tiled breakfast rooms with sea view.

The whole hotel is quite old, everything is quite worn out and the service is also quite slow. But the whole thing still has its own charm. My room at the back was quite simple and had no view.

The view and the hotel style

It was a really great experience. Clean and WONDERFUL place and the breakfast was good. The location of the hotel was marvellous and unbeatable - just a short walk away from Medina. The room was clean with a/c. The staff was cool and wonderful and always greeted us.

Misleading old building!!!!

In general: The hotel staff gave ya rooms without AC despite being promised we would have AC. The water was scorching hot and was hard to regulate. Room was old with sheets from the 70's and beds that were lumpy. Our bathroom door did not work and the riel bars fell off. Did I mention no elevator! Location and surroundings: Location is ok but the Medina is very poor and dirty! We did not feel safe and as a result we did not do much. It is also very hard to reach the hotel, very very hard!!! We scratched our rental car twice because the roads are impossible! Your only other alternative is Down the hill by where several drinks that fight at night dominate the unmarked parking! It is a mess!!! Service: Servis us just ok. Some are nice others give you dirty looks! Dining: Not good it's jus ok and we strongly question the cleanliness. We all got sick from the food! Room: Old and many things did not work!!! Useful tips: Do not stay at this hotel.

The view of the port from my double room was amazing.

The hotel pretty much as expected. Old world charm with views over the port. The balcony is a great spot to have coffee and start the day.

The room was very basic, expected just a bit more.
